Are you passionate about supporting children, families, and communities to achieve better educational outcomes?

We are seeking a motivated and community-minded Education Engagement & Attainment Initiative Supervisor (RSAS) to lead a dedicated team focused on improving school attendance, engagement, and educational achievement for First Nations children and young people in Yarralin.

What your day will look like, but are not limited to: 

  • Build strong relationships with school leaders, community representatives, families, and local stakeholders to improve attendance and engagement
  • Coordinate resources, activities, and initiatives that encourage educational participation and achievement.
  • Collecting, analysing, and reporting on program data to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Supporting community activities that strengthen connections between families, schools, and education providers.

The Ideal Candidate Profile

We're looking for a community-minded leader who is passionate about supporting children and young people to succeed through education.
You'll be someone who can build strong relationships, inspire others, and work collaboratively to create positive outcomes for students, families, and the wider community.
You'll have strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse groups and have a sound understanding of community development and a commitment to community-led solutions

You will bring: 

  • Experience working with school-aged children and a genuine commitment to improving educational outcomes
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with schools, families, community representatives, and stakeholders.
  • Experience collecting, analysing, and reporting on program data to measure success and drive improvements

Other Requirements 

  • Criminal History Check (recent, within 3 months).
  • A current Working with Children’s Card (Ochre Card).
  • A current unrestricted Drivers Licence.
