Victoria Daly Regional Council is looking for Community Services Support Worker's and Community Services Support Team Leaders based in various communities in the Northern Territory.

Community Services Staff provide personal, physical and emotional support to aged care and NDIS clients, helping them with daily living activities and improving their wellbeing and independence within the community.

You’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives every day. You’ll work closely with clients and be part of a supportive team helping individuals stay safe, independent and connected to their community.

Day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to: 

• Provide hands-on support with daily living activities
• Assist with personal care, meals, transport, and domestic tasks
• Support clients’ physical, social, and emotional wellbeing
• Build positive relationships with clients, families, and the team
• Complete reports and maintain accurate records
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment

The Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking caring and motivated support workers with a passion for aged care and a commitment to providing culturally respectful support.  

You will bring:

• A caring, respectful, and supportive approach
• Experience or interest in aged care, disability, or community services
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Respect for cultural values and diversity
• Commitment to safety, confidentiality, and quality care

• Criminal History Check (recent within 3 months).
• A current Working with Children’s Card. 
• A current unrestricted and valid Driver’s Licence.
• A Current First Aid Certificate (Essential or willing to obtain).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (desirable or ability to obtain).
