What your day will look like, but are not limited to: 

  • Deliver sport, recreation and youth programs for community members of all ages.
  • Encourage participation in healthy, active lifestyle initiatives.
  • Build positive relationships with community members, schools and local stakeholders..
  • Assist with the setup, pack down and maintenance of recreation spaces and equipment.
  • Act as a positive role model and encourage community involvement in sport and recreation.

The Ideal Candidate Profile

Someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about making a difference in communities. Enjoy working with people from diverse background and are confident engaging with young people.

You will bring:

  • Experience delivering sport, recreation, youth, or community programs.
  • Strong communication skills 
  • A positive attitude and a passion for encouraging healthy, active lifestyles.
  • Good organisation and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Other Requirements 

  • Criminal History Check (issued within the last 3 months).
  • A current Working with Children’s Card (Ochre Card).
  • A current unrestricted Drivers Licence.
  • A current First Aid Certificate (willing to obtain).
