About the Role
Make a real difference where it matters most.
Victoria Daly Regional Council is seeking a dedicated, hands-on leader to join our team in Timber Creek, one of the Northern Territory’s most unique and culturally rich communities.
In this pivotal role, you will lead and deliver Aged Care and Community Support programs at our new Timber Creek Community Centre, ensuring services are compliant, welcoming, culturally safe, and responsive to local needs. This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to build trust, strengthen connections, and improve quality of life for our consumers and participants.
Key Responsibilities
As a Community Services Team Leader – Timber Creek What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor a team to deliver high-quality support for Aged Care consumers and NDIS participants.
- Design and coordinate programs and activities that promote health, wellbeing, and social connection.
- Engage new clients through outreach, community engagement, and partnerships—helping people access the supports they need.
- Ensure compliance and quality standards through training, record-keeping, and best practice.
- Demonstrate financial responsibility and effective use of resources.
- Champion cultural respect and inclusion.
- Maintain safe, clean facilities, vehicles, and equipment.

- A sound knowledge of the principles of Work Health and Safety.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following:
- Cert III or IV in Individual Support or equivalent (desirable).
- Essential NDIS Workers Orientation and Mandated Modules certifications.
- My Aged Care Learning Centre Modules learning (essential).
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate (essential)
Other Requirements or ability to obtain
- Criminal History Check
- A current Working with Children’s Card (Ochre Card)
- A current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.

- Level 5 - Salary $78,559 to $81,887 (plus superannuation contributions)
- Remote area Allowance of $2,203.38 per annum
