How you’ll make a difference

Victoria Daly Regional Council is looking for a part-time Night Patrol Officer based in Yarralin, NT. (60 hours per fortnight)

This position is required to work as part of a team to assist all members of the community that maybe at risk of harming or being harmed, providing alternative solutions to ensure their safety and well-being.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Conduct patrols in the community and surrounding area to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents is maintained.
2. Establish good relationships with community members to enable engagement.
3. Ensure any persons at risk are relocated to a safe environment.
4. Maintain a safe staff working environment. 

What you’ll bring to the team

Education Requirements

1. Ability to work with limited supervision and direction.
2. Good interpersonal skills and friendly disposition. 
3. Positive attitude toward health and well-being.

Other Requirements

1. Criminal History Check (issued within the last 3 months)
2. Current Working with Children’s Clearance (Ochre Card)
3. A valid driver’s licence
