About the Opportunity
Victoria Daly Regional Council is now looking for a full-time Community Services Regional Manager to join their team in Katherine, NT.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the leadership and management of Aged and NDIS programs in the Victoria Daly Regional Council region, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of programs in the region.
More specifically, some of your duties will include (but will not be limited to):
- Provide strategic advice and support the CEO an Council on the delivering of Aged Care and NDIS programs;
- Manage and implement all Aged Care and NDIS programs and budget according to the funding body's requirements;
- Ensure programs are managed and executed successfully with services and compliance met;
- Developing, managing and continuously improving programs within the Council
- Establish and maintain links with appropriate community groups relevant to the activities of the Community Services Division;
- Travel to surrounded remote communities when required; and
- Other duties as directed by the CEO.
About You
To be successful in this role you will hold a tertiary qualification in Public Health, Public Policy, Social Planning, Aged Care or NDIS.
You will have demonstrated experience in a leadership role, as well as experience managing either aged care, NDIS services or a similar program.
An excellent communicator, you will have well developed interpersonal skills including the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of stakeholders.
Experience working in remote areas is desirable, to enable you to work effectively within indigenous communities.
Please Note: A current Driver's Licence, Working with Children clearance and a criminal history check will be required prior to commencing in this role.
